A subscription is the unmatched way to experience the Sydney Film Festival. Subscribe for either the day or night sessions at the majestic State Theatre, over the entire Festival and have your own dedicated seat.
Why be a subscriber?
A subscription is always the best value way to see the most films at the Festival. What films will I get to see?
The joy of subscribing is the being able to discover a wide range of remarkable new films, curated for you by our experienced programming team led by Festival Director Nashen Moodley. The State Theatre hosts all our special presentation and Official Competition films, so you will see the very best the Festival has to offer. Films will be announced May 10, and it will not be possible to purchase a subscription after this point.
Do I have to attend every session and can I share my pass?
Your subscriber seat is just that – all yours. You can come and go as you please and your seat will be waiting for you. Can’t make a particular session? As long as you pass on your subscriber pass to a friend, they can come in your place (or just leave it for them to pick up at box office!).
What if I have access requirements?
If you have an access requirement (wheelchair access, hearing loop, etc.), please contact Sydney Film Festival’s ticketing team on 1300 733 733 or email us at tickets@sff.org.au for assistance.
Does my subscription include the Opening and Closing Night Galas?
Opening Night (the evening of Wednesday 7 June) and Closing Night (the evening of Sunday 18 June) are not included in a Subscription. Tickets to these events will need to be purchased separately.
What about special screenings and other venues?
Tickets to the remainder of the SFF program can be purchased from Wednesday 10 May.
