Travelling Film Festival Marketing and Publicity Coordinator

The TFF Marketing and Publicity Coordinator is responsible for the successful marketing and publicity of the TFF. It carries the primary responsibility for delivering a marketing and publicity campaign for each location on the TFF annual tour to achieve awareness, sales and attendance targets.

SFF Partnerships Manager

As a not-for-profit organisation, the Festival relies on its government and corporate partners and growing donor community to deliver its program annually. Partnerships are particularly important to SFF, providing both cash and significant contra support which the Festival relies on enormously for production, venue hire, media, hospitality and other services.

The Partnerships Manager is responsible for the procurement of new partners; for building and strengthening relationships with existing partners and for overseeing delivery of all partner benefits and accurate and timely reporting. The role provides an opportunity for a mid-career partnerships executive to move to the next level and use their skills to manage and grow significant partner relationships and increase this vital income stream for the Festival.

Customer Relations Manager

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Customer Relations Manager is responsible for all ticketing and touch points between customers and the Sydney Film Festival. These include ticketing set-up, execution and evaluation across the key customer-facing online channels including the SFF website and the app.

The Customer Relations Manager is responsible for design and execution of sales reporting and tracking, as well as contributing to the market research strategy.

This role oversees relationships with external contractors including ticketing provider Ferve Ticketing, ticketing build and export to the SFF website; Opening and Closing Night ticketing, front of house plans for all theatres; and reporting to the Head of Marketing and CEO.

Staff management includes recruiting and supervising the ticketing staff, sales reporting, income projection and financial reconciliation.
This is a full-time contract position commencing as soon as available, until July 2022 (to be negotiated).

Publications Manager

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Publications Manager is a senior role on the marketing team, overseeing the writing, editing and coordination of text and images and all communication channels.

The primary responsibility is to produce the main Festival Program Guide and Mini Guides, with SFF Brand and Tone of Voice guidelines.

The Festival Program Guide is a critical element of the marketing campaign, with a distribution of 160,000 copies across NSW. The guide requires detail orientation, excellent project management skills, an understanding of publication and proofing processes, and the ability to coordinate content providers both internally and externally.

The Publications Manager also generates promotional content including writing, editing and collation of SFF eNews and Social Media content, proofing advertising and media releases and working closely within the marketing team to provide tactical marketing and promotion expertise via all Festival channels.

This is a full-time contract position commencing 24 February, until 19 June 2022.
