Publications Coordinator

 

Sydney Film Festival is seeking a gun writer, copy editor and proofreader to join the Publications team.

The Publications Coordinator works closely under the Publications Manager to assist in the delivery of the printed and online program guides and mini guides, as well as creating engaging original content for the SFF eNewsletter, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other channels as required. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills.

Key duties include:

  • Proofreading copy and credits to perfection, in line with the SFF style guide
  • Adding approved copy to the SFF database (Eventival) and ensuring it retains formatting using HTML tags
  • Building, writing and sending eNews in Mailchimp
  • Writing and editing copy to translate across different channels

Box Office Coordinator x 2 (AM & PM)

 

The Box Office Coordinator is responsible for assisting to ensure the highest quality customer service is provided for all Festival ticketing. The Box Office Coordinator works closely with the Box Office Manager to ensure all box offices and phone sales are running smoothly throughout the long festival days and also provides support to the ticketing team as required.

Complimentary Ticketing Coordinator

 

The Complimentary Ticketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating guest, sponsor and VIP complimentary tickets of the Sydney Film Festival.  Key responsibilities include ensuring superior customer service occurs; that guest, VIP, opening night and closing night complimentary allocation and distribution of tickets run smoothly over all festival venues. Please note that this position is expected to be available to work every day during the festival.

Box Office Casual Staff

 

SFF Box Office Staff Casual staff will ensure the delivery of excellent customer service at Festival venues throughout the 2021 Sydney Film Festival.  The successful applicant will enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks concurrently.  The Box Office Staff will be casually employed to sell tickets at the State Theatre, Event Cinemas George Street, Dendy Newtown, Randwick Ritz, and Hayden Orpheum Cremorne, as well as the call centre located at our head office at The Rocks. They will be the face of the 2021 Sydney Film Festival. Key responsibilities include selling tickets, providing superior customer service and balancing of daily takings at end of shift.
