Online ticket payment
Sydney Film Festival (SFF) uses eCommerce to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet. Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted the moment they are transmitted from the client’s browser to the banking network using industry standard SSL 128-bit RC4 encryption technology.
A customer’s credit card details are not stored anywhere on the Internet and the only company who has access to this data is the merchant’s bank. The bank also sends confirmation information via the same encryption technology back to the client’s browser. These secure processes provide clients with peace of mind when purchasing online.
Sydney Film Festival will not send you emails unless you have first given your consent or have signed up for our email bulletin.
Full details on how to unsubscribe will be included in every email bulletin.
A special note to kids
Please ask your parents for permission before you send any information about yourself (your name, address, e-mail address, etc.) to us or anyone else over the Internet.
Parents and guardians
We encourage you to get involved with your children’s online usage and to be aware of the activities in which they are participating. Any ‘personally identifying information’ collected by sff.org.au from children will only be used by Sydney Film Festival and its subsidiaries, and affiliates for internal purposes such as market research, and may sometimes be included in our internal database, if the person agrees by submitting ‘personally identifying information’. However, such information will not be posted or published by us, nor sold, rented or provided to any third parties.
Additionally, what is called ‘anonymous aggregated data’ may sometimes be provided to our advertisers for statistical purposes as described above.
