Amanda Duthie is one of the leading figures in Australia's arts and culture industries. Currently Head of Stan Originals, Duthie has been the Creative Director/CEO of the Adelaide Film Festival, the Head of Arts & Entertainment at ABC TV, as well as acting Head of Drama & Scripted at SBS and Head of Production, Development and Studios at the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC). She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Adelaide Festival of Arts.

Kriv Stenders
Director

Kriv Stenders is one of Australia’s most renowned, respected and prolific film directors. Kriv has made significant contributions to the Australian film industry, most notably, with his acclaimed film Red Dog (2011), a heartwarming tale about a legendary canine in the Australian outback. Other directing credits include: Kill Me Three Times (2014), Danger Close: the Battle of Long Tan (2019) and recently the ABC TV documentary series The Black Hand (2023). Kriv’s latest film, The Correspondent (2024), was released in cinemas this year to wide critical acclaim.

Mitzi Goldman

Mitzi Goldman has worked in the film industry for over 35 years. She is the Co-Founder & CEO of Documentary Australia, the Executive Director & Owner of Looking Glass Productions, and the former Co-Head of Documentary at AFTRS. Goldman has previously worked as a writer, editor, producer, and executive producer and has a PhD in Cultural Studies.

Paul Wiegard
Panelist

Paul Wiegard is the CEO and Co-Founder of Madman Entertainment. He has executive produced over 40 feature and documentary films, and established the streaming platform DocPlay. A graduate of AFTRS, Wiegard is currently the President of the Australian Independent Distributors Association (AIDA), a Board Member of Screenrights and ACMI, and Co-Chair of the Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC).

Sandy George is a veteran screen journalist, interviewer, researcher, writer and presenter with over thirty years experience covering the Australian film and television industry.
