This pressing documentary follows Michael Greenberg, the leader of the climate activist group Climate Defiance which is fighting for the planet's future. Award winner, CPH:DOX 2026.

Michael Greenberg founded Climate Defiance in 2023, inspired by the civil rights movement, ACT UP and Gandhi. Alongside his fellow activists, Michael stages non-violent protests at events attended by the CEOs and politicians driving the climate crisis – with many going viral. This exhilarating doc, executive produced by Joshua Oppenheimer (The Act of Killing), reveals what it takes to run a youth led movement, from the pressures of organising to the personal risks in an increasingly authoritarian political environment. Directors Betsy Hershey and Emma Wall serve up a galvanising call to action, powered by a standout soundtrack featuring Chappell Roan, Doechii, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Billie Eilish.
