Hen
With extraordinary sensitivity, Pálfi imbues our avian protagonist with a vivid inner life, drawing us into her terror, curiosity and defiance as she is swept into a series of wild encounters and breathless escapes. Her journey carries her across strange and shifting terrains, eventually washing her up at a crumbling taverna on the Greek coast - but this is no gentle fable. As the humans around Hen come into focus, the film transforms into something far more unsettling: a piercing reflection on human behaviour and callousness.
