Join us for a special screen industry masterclass with Jordan Giusti, writer-director of Floodland, which just won the Sustainable Future Award at the 2025 Sydney Film Festival—the largest environmental film prize in the world.

Jordan is an award-winning filmmaker known for his distinctive short-form work. His films Grevillea (2020) and Reptile (2022) have screened internationally, with Grevillea earning a Crystal Bear nomination at the Berlin International Film Festival. He is also a two-time Australian Directors’ Guild award nominee, with work featured at Clermont-Ferrand and Sydney Film Festivals.

In this free, in-person masterclass, Jordan will reflect on the development and making of Floodland, his storytelling process, and his experiences navigating the screen industry as an emerging director. Ideal for filmmakers, students, and lovers of cinema alike.

Held at the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium, this event is free but places are limited - registration essential.
