Event Cinemas George St
Event Cinemas George Street is in the heart of CBD, and is one of the most highly sought after cinema venues in Sydney. Host to some of the biggest film premieres of the year, this venue has seen its fair share of star-studded events and is a well-known city favourite, a short walk from the State Theatre and the Festival Hub.
A bus stop is located at the front door of the complex and being located in the centre of the city, many buses stop within a 5-10 minute walk to the cinemas.

Ramp access to Event Cinemas is available from the main entrance on George Street. It is recommended to drop off on Kent St and take the lane way down to the cinema. Cinemas 4, 8, 9 and 11 (used by the SFF) are wheelchair accessible. Accessible toilets are located a short distance from each cinema. Only Cinema 8 and VMAX 1 and VMAX 2 are hearing loop enabled, please see the festival staff for locations that are best covered by the hearing loop. Cinema 4, 9 and 11 have Infrared- Williams sound and can be accessed with a headset provided by Event Cinemas staff. There is no onsite parking available.
Cinemas 3, 4, 5 and 9 have 4 wheelchair spaces. Cinemas 7, 8 and 11 have 3 wheelchair spaces.
