ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Position Title    Assistant Accountant

Reporting to     Finance and Administration Manager 

Salary               Permanent Part-time role – 1 to 2 days per week. (Must include Wednesday). Salary based on experience.

Sydney Film Festival is seeking a part time Assistant Accountant to help the finance department with everything from payroll, invoicing and accounts payable to internet and phone account management. If you’ve worked for at least two years in a similar role, have a relevant business degree and working MYOB knowledge, and are keen to work in a big, busy arts organisation, then get in touch.

MATERIALS COORDINATOR

Position Title    Materials Coordinator

Reporting to    Programs Manager, Marketing Manager 

Salary                Full-time fixed-term role 6 March to 23 June 2017, pro-rata $52,500

Sydney Film Festival is seeking a Materials Coordinator (four month contract), who’ll be responsible for chasing down all the publicity and marketing materials for films screening in SFF (stills, trailers, bios, etc.), and ensuring the copy and images are edited, resized and saved safely in the database (among other editing tasks). If you’re exceptionally well organised, have skills with proof-reading, Photoshop, databases and spreadsheets, have experience in publicity, film marketing and/or picture research, and are keen to work in a big, busy arts organisation, then we want to hear from you.

PHILANTHROPY MANAGER

Position Title: Philanthropy Manager

Purpose of Position: To generate philanthropic support for Sydney Film Festival from individuals, fundraising events, trusts and foundations

Contract Duration: Full time

Reporting to: Development Manager

Sydney Film Festival is run by a small, passionate team. Since the launch of Philanthropy in July 2014, SFF has an increasing cohort of patrons and a board who are committed to supporting the Festival and its future endeavors. This role was created to establish philanthropy within SFF and build a solid foundation towards the future. It is a career development opportunity; with the candidate being mentored by an external industry leader.
