Classified Films

The following films have been classified by the Australian Classification Board, or deemed by the festival as appropriate for a younger audience. All other films are 18+ under Australian law.

For the first time, changes to Australian classification laws have opened up over 100 films in this year’s festival to people aged 15–17. We asked a young film buff and aspiring writer take advantage of this new aspect of the festival and tell us what she made of it all. Read her reviews here.
